Lighthouse Design
I’ve looked through pages and pages of lighthouses in WikiMedia Commons. My favorite design from a position of strength is the tapered hexagon. I envision a foundation constructed on granite rock. That is why there are rocks submerged in the hexagon base. The foundation supports six walls that fit together with a beveled edge. I wanted a light inside the lens room to illuminate the brass spiral staircase. The brass tube in the middle hides the power cable to the blue-green LED light. The staircase winds around the tube from the base to the widow’s walk, also a hexagon shape. The graphic painted on the widow’s walk appears clearly to sailors at sea in the daytime. The patterned circular lens reminds me of the refracted light from the many prisms and makes a cool pattern on the wall. Lastly, a round peaked roof with a finneal cries out with black and then white, alternately, around the 360° circle of the 25 watt 12 volt light.

Lighthouse Variations and Possibilities
Combining your creative ideas with my artistic skills allows us to create anything you envision. I have explored various lighthouse designs (refer to https://watercolorwildflowers/gallery) and am eager to experiment with different styles. Once we establish the foundational elements, assembling them becomes an enjoyable process. While a wide array of colors is available, I typically lean towards transparent hues to reveal the spiral staircase inside. The central tube of the staircase conveys power to the LED light in the lantern room. These creations can serve as captivating accent lamps in your household.
